Wheels Turning Enough?

Does these front wheels seem to turn freely enough when hand spun?
I'm looking for better MPG...

Seems to be okay to me, not that I know the Corvette wheels but about like others. I'll let someone else confirm (or not).
The disc brakes will drag slightly anyway, so backing the brake pads off the rotors would allow the wheel to turn a few times around if the hub/bearings/grease is okay too.

Step on the brake pedal and release, if the wheels still turn freely then look elsewhere for a problem.

Better than 20+ ?

I get 27.4 MPG with my 78, but it takes a 6 speed + 3.08 gears to make that happen.

City driving for a 79 = 12-14 highway I would think at best 17-20.

Your wheels look like they are no different than mine for how they spin.

What are you getting now ?
