I am reading this as for a 427 dated Feb 19 1969 ??

I found this in some papers from Lars

7029200 CHEV 69 CAMARO, VETTE 396/427 AUTO

Your number is one digit short of being a Rochester carb number. Rochester carb numbers are seven or eight digits long. Your number only has 6 digits, and is not valid.

The following Rochester numbers contain the numbers you listed:
  • 7029007 (1969 Model M Manual Choke Monojet for 250 Cu. In G-10 truck)
  • 7029008 (1969 Model M Monojet for Chevy II L-4 153 Cu. In)
  • 7029200 ( 1969 Chevrolet, Chevelle, Chevy II, Camaro, Corvette 396 and 427 Auto Trans 4MV QuadraJet)

Lars some day I will learn to type # 7029200 .I was going to try this on My 71 LS5 454 engine think it will work ? it does have a little bigger cam other that that it is all stock 390 hp rebuild

Any 1969 - 1974 4MV Q-Jet, correctly set up, will run exactly the same. Set it up right, and it will run very well.
