BB vs SB Sway bars?

Can sway bar presence and size help to ID an original BB car vs a SB carr? How?

The size of the bar and whether or not there is a rear bar. Only problem is they can be added or removed quite easily over the years.

I'm looking at a '69 and trying to get as much info as I can. It has a BB but whether its and original BB car or not is in doubt.

Not necessarily. It's easy too easy to swap bars.

BB cars had a different tach, caps instead of straps fastening the rear half shafts, larger front sway bar, rear sway bar, wider radiator, and a different hood.
You'd need to look up the redline for the particular year/engine. Many people don't swap the tach, a hassle taking the dash apart.

No guarantee, maybe a bit more evidence. All parts can be installed if someone built a BB clone. Is originality important to you? Numbers? If not, does it matter what it started life as? Would 'correct' work for you?
