Default 1979 L82 compression test readings...

Hey guys! So I have an old 79 Corvette that has been sitting in a garage/barn for years and I decided to take a leap and purchase it. I'm going through the engine and doing all of the necessary maintenance. My compression test ranged from 147-150 through all eight cylinders. The mileage on the speedo states 132,714. Is this a stock compression reading for the L82? I know the numbers mean the cylinders check out, I'm just curious on the actual number. Is this close to average for a stock 79 L82? Thanks! My other post tonight will be on the stripped harmonic balancer bolt I discovered...

Sounds great for a low comp engine, like the L82! I have seen plain 350's run lower.

Sweet to bring 'em back to life, good luck with your project!!
