But don't cringe too much. I bought a pair of beat up panels on Kijiji and turned one into a bike rack. It's going to be real handy for when I'm dropping the car off to get some work done. Don't need anyone to pick me up!
The aluminum track is removable so the panel can still go in the back.

I'm a cyclist also and this is a good idea. Why not do this. Just take the bike off before leaving or entering the garage.

It just about clears the door, but unfortunately it does not.
I like it a lot, very well done. I was wondering how I was going to get my road bike on my 68. I have an extra set of t-top panels that I can work with, thanks for the idea!
