HI MEN,i AM WANTING TO PUT A X-PIPE ON MY 76 STINGRAY.BUT I AM DISABLED AND IT IS VERY HARD FOR ME TO GET DOWN AND GET THE MEASUREMENTS I NEED TO BUY THE CORRECT WIDTH X-PIPE FOR HER.THE CLOSEST I WAS ABLE TO GET WAS 12 INCHES WIDE TO GO THROUGH THE CROSSMEMBER.CAN ANYONE TELL ME IF I'M CLOSE ON THIS MEASUREMENT? AND WHAT THE CORRECT MEASUREMENT IS? IF ANYONE HAS ALREADY DONE THIS BEFORE TO THEIR C3,CAN YOU DIRECT ME TO THE PLACE WHERE YOU GOT YOUR X-PIPE? I THANK-YOU FOR YOUR HELP.

Get the car up on a lift to measure the diameter of the exhaust pipes stock was 2" but a car this old may have been changed out to larger pipes. We used 2 1/2" X pipe from Jegs, was not expensive, had a muffler shop weld it in.
X-pipe help please.
