Default OT - piston question

Sorry for the off topic-ness of this question, but this is the greatest collection of car guys I've found.

I found a set of new pistons in the dettached garage that came with the house we bought a couple of months ago.

Box says Federal Mogul Power Forged Pistons the number is L22441F-30
the 30 part is .030 oversized, but I can't find what they fit. I found this info about the Power Forged Piston and it even mentions a catalog one of you might have.

website: http://www.federal-mogul.com/sealedpower/index.html
power forged info is about 1/2 way down

thanks for any info

You have one too many digits it seems, try L2441 -F .Thats a blower piston for a 350 Chevy

7.55 compression with a 76cc head

Should have a D shape cup

True it is a L2441 -F - someone had written 62CC in the inside of the box - maybe trying to bring the compression down on small chambered heads.

They do have a big D shiped recess in the top.

Now all I need is a a 350 in need of an over bore and a blower - since I got the pistons.... or at lease that's what I'll tell the wife.

thanks

Sounds like a good idea! You can call Summit and find out what those cost. They should be able to look them up for you if they don't stock them. You can always sell them on ebay, too. Don't forget to include that they're RARE Corvette pistons!
