79 Started wires
Another club member had shared smoke was noticed in the started area why she was trying to start it. I discovered one of the two wires connected together in a connector, was fried.
Are both of those wires a "fusable link" type wires? these are the two wires looking like 12 - 10 gauges and connected together into a connector that goes to the same large bolt where the main battery wire goes.

Yes, each wire is protected by a fusible link (thermo in the schematic) because each one powers up a different system.
