Default Torquing Ball Joints

Completing a front suspension project and wondering about the correct torque procedure for the upper and lower ball joints.

I snugged up the lower joint castle nut, inserted the spring and brought the upper joint into the spindle (lifting the lower a arm) and snugged that castle nut up.

Now, is it OK to torque the upper and lower ball joints castle nuts with spring pressure on both arms?

Thanks.
