Whomever posted the "build your own tach filter" topic can you please rerun your pics. I cannot find the post and the part is not available through ANY vendor. I'm refering to the filter that comes off the distributer running in-line to the tach that stops voltage spikes which causes the tach to jump at high RPM (where I need an accurate tach). Please repost if you can. I guess I will have to build this filter via radio shack parts as you did. Thanks
I hope this helps, simple to build out of Radio Shack parts, you don't have to be all that careful about the components either. As long as the resistors and capacitors are in the ballpark, it will work.

It does, be honest that diagram is way above my knowledge level but maybe if i print it the Radio shack guy can find the parts. There was another forum member who had pics of the actual radio shack parts in the box and showed the part#/ pics of soldering them together/ shrink wrapping and connecting. Yo u know how I can find that original post?
MODERATOR'S HELP PLEASE.
David,
I think that these are the archived posts that you were looking for. Once again, I'm sorry the picture quality is so crappy but it gives you some idea of how it will look when finished.
I got one from a junkyard 79 Pont Gran Prix...the guy at the counter had to ask what it was. He didn't believe me...No es un filtro...works great $8 :yesnod:
