DynoMax RaceMagnum Bullets.

B/C they're deeper and lowder than 90% of the Flowmasters and other mufflers(when you're using mufflers and not strait pipes with muffling tips)

I used the flowmaster 40's. Mainly because they are shorter than the 50's and make it easier to tuck them up out of site. The also sound real aggresive. Its still a sharp down bend in the pipe on the front portion. Dont know how I would have used the 50's and hid them this good.

Give this guy a call and the numer that will fit is a Borla #40352

Royal Auto parts, 845-221-2211 and ask for Jeff.. Tell him that Nick sent you!! They should be $109 each. I have had Flowmaster 40's and 50's on two other cars. They both were too loud!! The delta 50's are much better but too big. These Borla's fit just like the OEM's... I love them and they sound great!!

Here is their web link http://www.royalautoparts.com/

Just want to confirm the Borla's are quieter than either of the Flowmasters?

Yes thay are.. Much quieter but, they sound just as nice!! Under a load or at WOT they sound great, at highway speeds they are nice and mellow:yesnod:
These are on the pricy side but, they are worth it..:yesnod:

The delta 50's are much better but too big.
I was able to get the delta 50's tucked up under with a near stock appearance but cutting the inlet and outlet pipes down to about an inch and then cutting the exhaust pipe to length so that it didn't go inside the chamber. Just make sure to keep the spare tire carrier in while fitting the mufflers. They fit well and sound great, at least I think so. I've gotten quite a few compliments on the sound.

If you check the cfm rating of each I think that you will find that (other than the race bullits which are very loud, ask SuperFast80) the Dynomax Ultraflows flow the highest. I love the sound of the Flowmaster's and the Ultraflows.

I don't care much for the Flowmater sound, mainly because they are LOUD and I wrongly associate it with 5.0 Mustangs, which sound very nice IMO. Superturbos are very tolerable, yet sound and flow much better than stock mufflers. Ultraflows are great, but again, are very loud. Best to listen to others and compare.

Hi Cam, great reply to another exhaust post btw. I find the "loud" comments very interesting now as I had a set of 69 sidepipes on for a short time and found them so loud that when the Ultraflows were put on it seemed whisper quiet. It is all relative. Superfast80 has the race bullets on his vette and when he gets on his, even if 2 car distances behind me, I cannot hear my own, but it does sound menacing. :yesnod:

I bought the Flowmaster 40's, I don't think that they're too loud, but then again people tell me that's because I'm only 17. Like they say "if it's too loud your too old". Seriously though, There are interior resonances up to 2,000 rpm, and they are relatively loud after that too, but I'm not bothered by it all, and a lot of people tell me, even the guy who put my exhaust on, say it's not as loud as they thought it would be. Good Luck with whatever you choose. By the way, a balancing pipe, like an x or h pipe, is said to reduce interior and exterior resonances.

Turbo-Jet, I feel the same way. They sound like mustangs to me. I had the Flowmasters on my 90 Vette and hated the sound I always associated them with my nephew's mustang that had those on. On my 75 I went with the turbo mufflers. They are cheep and sound great. With the headers and duel exaust They sound like they have a throty lumpy sound Like it has a med cam.
Good luck in your hunt!
