Rebuilding quadrajet right now -
If that is the case, the accel pump will NOT be functional.

The only 2 I know of is that my choke thermostat spring is set dead center which could be adjusted, and the choke rod that goes from the top choke valve down into a linkage (with two holes), I put the rod on the outside hole. I don't want to just start shooting in the dark on guesses, any ideas or advice? Thanks again.

Hope this can help.
Video of no fuel from accelerator pumping:

Popped the hood, and I don't see any fuel coming out from accelerator pumping. I seem to have had problems with 2 accelerator pumps - both the original pump (which I replaced because a user noticed it had poor stream output), and now the one I've replaced here which originally had better stream output, but appears to sometimes also give poor or no streams. The accelerator pump should be pumping fuel no matter what at any time, correct? Never a time that it produces no fuel?
Perhaps I should be checking fuel system problems BEFORE the accelerator pump as I've had 2 with similar problem? I'm wondering if I should be looking at a fuel pump or lines or other things that would be causing problems. I still have a very hard time starting the car after it's been sitting, bogging when warm (which may be poor pump output) or on a warm start.
USER COMMENTS:
JNB - Thanks, I recently had a mechanic replace the cap about 6 mos ago or so. The wires are also brand new and I've separated them well. The only ones that could be touching would be the front 2 wires on each side that go through the heat shield / motor mounts. I didn't know a way to separate them through that god-awful feed through.
7T1Vette - I did a thorough comparison and yes, all wires are going to the correct terminals.
bmotojoe - Will stop off for a large fry and try this out, thanks

I bought the new accelerator pump from NAPA, they looked it up and I assume it's the right part. New accelerator pump has a confirmed spring underneath it, in the chamber. It feels responsive, doesn't feel like it's getting hung up, springs back normally, and I can feel the natural resistance of pushing it down by hand. Here is a video comparing the old and new pumps: the length of the rods seem to be the same (obviously new one on the right isn't extended to full length).

Below are some old photos when the new pump seemed to be working:
