Why, Borgenson boxes don't have any slop. Right? That's why folks throw out their C3 steering system to go to a Borgeson unit. Right?
Maybe.....there's something amiss in the rest of the steering system! There's a lot more possibility for that then being in the steering box--Borgeson or Saginaw.
Everything is new on my suspension including the borgeson box, when I took it to the dealer to be aligned they said that it really would drive better if the box didn't have so much slop in it.

Agree with 7T1Vette, had one installed this spring with the new rag joint no problems, with alignment car drives like a new one best $$ I spent on this car so FAR, LMAO

You shouldn't have to adjust a new box
Yup...make sure the caster is set per borgesons recommendation, and use their rag joint.
ps; Borgeson had great CS last time I called them...so you could give them a ring.

I also had mine converted (Corvette 1978 stock), but the Borgeson does have a bit of slack and is not very light at all. Any ideas if it can be adjusted or any issues you might think of?
Did you follow up on any of the points listed in this old post.
How is your rage joint?
What condition is the front end, ball joints, tire rods, control arm bushings?
What condition is the rear suspension?
what pressure and flow is coming from your power steering pump?
The borgeson box adjusts the same as any box. Loosen the hold nut. adjust. Tighten the hold nut.
Amazing how many people were ragging on the OP for this.
I also had a loose set screw on my rag joint that was causing a slight play in one direction shortly after first installing it.
It has a quicker ratio than stock, and it's new - so it will have less play than an original, non-blueprinted box. But it will still have some play - and more if it's not properly installed or adjusted.
