American V8's are the tops, the most sophisticated and most versitile engine made and no rice mobile will ever match them regardless of what they throw at them,
To prove my point is there a ricer that can get 6000 HP out of their motor and run 4.6 seconds in the quarter mile at 330 MPH, I think not and I rest my case :D
And I think that will put to rest the cubic inch to horsepower ratio debate. Hmm let me see can you say 800 HP per cylinder or 10 HP per cubic in :lol:

hey man..the skyline has 280hp stock and is a 2dr..i should know i owned one for over a year while stationed in japan. they are quick as s*!t but not illegal here..to bring one over you'd need to get the glass and side door impact beams replaced and a few other things. as cool as it as it was....it wasn't a vette..i only wish i had my vette over there. with that said... some of the cars over in japan are incredible..truly vette killers..but for me a vette is more than a car...its a lifestyle..my vette has a big wing on it and it may look rice-ish to some...BUT i've converted 3 guys into selling their imports cause i befriend anyone that is into fast cars..and they felt something that imports just don't give you..and now days thats called bein dfferent
