For the clock, I'd suggest a quartz clock kit. Easy to install, and the second hand sweeps just like original. Corvette Clocks by Roger is a good choice if you want to buy it completed.

I'd recommend Roger also. He's done a number of guages for me over the years and his work is excellent and correct. As far as the quartz conversions, if they're doin' em now that sweep they've changed since I last had one done. (probably 10 years ago on a clock) Back then they jumped in typical quartz movement and there was a serious originality deduction for them when being judged.

I would reccomend him for clocks .He also claims he does radios but in reality he farms that work out.I had a problem with a 77 I was doing for someone and it took him 6 months to do it and when i recieved it ,it was broke .I told him I wanted to send it back and He said the PLACE that does it for him will be closed for afew months because the owner only worked 9 months out of the year . :yesnod:
