steering wheel pullers?

You can find one on any tool truck and usually at an auto parts store…but.you might want to try without one….loosen the nut holding on the wheel but not all the way off….then use your knees and hands to put pressure toward you….pulling harder from side to side with your hands but keeping pressure with your knees…this usually works. Or you can also while you are putting pressure with your knees use a hammer and hit a socket on the thick part of the nut and hit it a few times while using the pressure with your knees.

you do not a steering wheel puller for corvette steering wheel, they bolt on,
with several small screws. you don't need a hammer either.
if you need to pull the column apart you will need the vette hub compression tool,
to remove the hub. if it is a Tilt/Telescopic, you will also need the special 5/16" screw to lock the shaft for removal.

Pull on the horn button to pop it off and the bolts will be right there.
If the button is stubborn, lay a shop rag around it for padding and GENTLY pry with a large screwdriver.
