Getting hard of hearing and would like to hear my stereo more clearly. Who makes the quietest mufflers for my 383?
My vote is for GM. The stock mufflers on my '81 sound like mufflers on a Toyota Corrolla. :smash: Not for long though... I've got FlowMaster Series 40s, new SS piping, and a new hi-flo cat with an interchangeable test pipe. I can't wait. :D

My car has a pair of $14.95 summit turbo's on it. They're pretty quiet and don't sound too bad at WOT. I will trade them for your old ones :-), I'm getting tired of quiet.

After getting tired of my flowmaster 40's terrible resonance at 1500rpm. I just bought a pair of dynomax ultraflows. They have a nice idle, no resonance and only get loud when your running at full throttle. Of course they might just sound quiet to me since I've run flowmaster 40's for so long :crazy: There also a straight through design so they should flow well.
Nice car Orvette. I've got a set of flowmaster delta 40's I'd sell you cheap.
