A few years back forum members recommended using a Metra 44-PW22 power antenna as a replacement for C3 Corvettes. Problem is the original antenna has 3 wires and the Metra has 2 wires. So, how does one wire this thing up? Its driving me nuts.
You won't need the power antenna relay for that antenna.
Connect the orange wire at the power antenna relay (constant +12V) to the red wire leading to the antenna.
Connect the yellow wire (switched +12V) at the power antenna relay to the blue wire leading to the antenna.
Obviously that antenna is intended to be self grounding. You can't count on such in a fiberglass bodied car If it doesn't work after hookup and installation you'll have to rig in a ground wire to the case of the antenna.

Thanks for the help. I followed your instructions and got everything wired and working!
