Default Trans cooler install questions I forgot to ask

I posted a trans cooler installation thread last week and I forgot to ask the following questions. What type of plugs can I use to plug the trans cooler line openings on the radiator since I'm going to run lines directly from the trans to the trans cooler? What type of plugs have forum members used when installing a stand alone trans cooler?

Those would be best...for a radiator with brass side tanks. If they are aluminum, you need to get aluminum NPT plugs.

Or you can go with plastic plugs with an O-ring or rubber seal...anything that will keep water/debris from getting into the side tank.

Go to home depot and get a brass plug that fits or just leave the plastic plug that comes with the radiator in the hole if the radiator is new...Either way it should cost you no more than $3-4 dollars at most at HD.
