I have a 82 corvette and want to get the ac back up and running im getting power to the blower with switches on and when off not getting any power should i change the blower first the ac turn but does not engage when i press the gauge button
Connect a multimeter to the positive side of the wiring to the cab blower motor. turn on the AC or fan and check if you are getting 12vdc. Check for a good ground at the black wire. If all is good then replace the cab blower motor.
with what has been said.check the fan motor for power first.after you take out the overflow tank the fan motor will come out .it does not look like it but it will .you may have to move the ac line.i also added a better ground wire for the fan motor. If you have no Freon in the system the ac clutch will not engage.
