Headlight housing adjustment

the front edge of my left headlight housing is sitting too low when closed. Is there an adjustment for this?

Hi,
This is the adjustment screw for the headlight door in the closed position.

Alan, I must ask....what program are you using to give people the finger in your photos? It really helps identifying the component.

thanks Alan! How do I adjust it? With the car running and headlights up? Does a socket wrench fit on it?

Hi bh,
You adjust it with the headlight door closed by reaching up through the opening in the lower valance panel.
A small socket on a 1/4" drive works fine. Turning the one way will lower the door and the other will raise it.
In the picture it appears the door may be lower on one side than the other, is that so? If it is, that's an addition adjustment on the door's 2 pivot bearings.

Hi 71,
The 'finger' is part of the Photobucket site's editing software.
I actually don't like it, but I like the 'arrow' options they offer even less.
To be able to use the arrows I like I have to move the photo back to the 'I Photo' program on my computer which some times isn't worth the time it takes.
