Don't need leaded gas or any additives to run an 11:1 engine. The L46 also has 11:1 compression and runs fine on premium pump fuel for the most part. Also someone might have addressed this above but the L46 has a 6000 red line tach. The LT1's is 6500.

redline on l46 due to hyd cam, numbers stamped on pad tell whether lt1 or l46, but other than that you could add all required pieces and make l46 look and run like lt1. also lt1 had trans ignition, different u-joint pieces(like bb..caps not u straps)
