Mine is 100% not stock. Well, about 95%. The tranny looks to be stock. Paint, interior, engine, rear end..........all different than stock.

Pretty much bone stock..

I've painted it and upgraded the stereo. After getting rings and caps ripped off 3 times I went to after market wheels.

I am however, getting a little bored with the wimpy L48. The time is gettin near.... :yesnod:

Right now it is all stock except for the flowmaster mufflers. I'm thinking of converting to TPI and maybe a slightly modified cam and true daul exhaust.

To answer your question, I'd have to say yes and no.

No, in that it is not the original engine.
Yes, in that the engine I do have is a stock 87' Vette engine

But, within the next month, it will be modified to about 300hp :D

It gets farther from stock every winter. ;) I would have left it stock, but the original engine went kaput a couple years ago (still not certain of exact cause). Since it doesn't have the original block, I don't see the point in keeping it stock. It's all about performance now. Just wish I had done things right when I put in a new engine, now I have to mod this one. Oh well, didn't really have the money back then anyway.

Mine is completly stock. with some minor changes:

10: compression on a .030 overbored L-82.
327/350 horse profile cam.
forged everything.
Shaved Heads.
Beefed up TH350 with Shift Kit.
2.5" Mandrel Bent Dual Exaust.
4.11 Rear gears with HD U-Joints.
Interior missing  for now...
Custom Paint (Hence the Name ProwlerOrange...)
Ground Effects
Shaved emblems
L-88 hood
80-82 style rear bumper

Soon to come:
Headers!
8 point roll cage
18" Centerline Lexi (Sexy Lexis as i call em) Wheels with a minimum of p275 40ZR (50ZR?) tires.
Interior.
Sound system with 4 10" eclipse aluminum subs eclipse component speakers and a Kenwood excelon 911 indash DVD/CD Player

Not so Soon to come:
Stroked LS1 (382 or 427 depending on the $$$)
T56, or R.O.D. 6 speed manual transmission.
If needed an ATI Procharger for the LS1. I want 11s at bandimere (5280 ft)

 I can see the Ad i would place for my vette: 1979 corvette slightly modded, never driven hard, (thats actaully true) less than 3000 miles on motor (thats true too), needs minor work on interior, Real Head Turner!
