Was too high-now too low
I have a 1970 no option car with stock suspension(except a 15+year old set of KYB shocks). My Corvette sat perfect until I put on a set of aluminum heads a couple of years ago. Then it sat about an inch taller than it was before.
I just completed a new ball joint and tie rod end project and took one complete coil off the front springs thinking it would lower the car 1 inch. Now it sits too low. It is 26 inches from the ground to the fender lip.
Is there a "safe" way to raise the car an inch or am I stuck buying new springs? I know I should buy new springs and shocks but the Mrs. said no more Corvette parts until She gets new floors.

Coil spring spacers are available from spring shops or summit/jegs. Various thicknesses and materials

GM used to sell air conditioning spacers, basically a piece of hard rubber that went under your coil spring, I have them in my #1 below, mine might have come from Moroso

Before you add the spacers, read the section on proper suspension measurements in the AIM. The present height might be OK. IMO, I like the way it looks, it is similar to my 70 BB.
