I have a set of the Sanderson with Jet coating on my big block, they are a block hugger style, really nice looking and the quality is very high. I ran into a problem with my raised port heads, they did not line up with my brackets for the alternator and power steering pump. They install with no gaskets just high temp permatex. Go to there web site and check out the applications for year of car and engine size. I was told by them that in comparison to Hooker competition headers they are much better. I can send you an email picture of mine if you are interested in seeing them.
I have only heard great thinks about these headers, they come so highly recommended by ppl in the performance biz. not just the retailers but those who use them.
At one time, I wanted to build a 377 long rod twin turbocharged and intercooled 1973 coupe, and I was looking seriously at the Sanderson headers to mount a pair of turbos to them.
I like them. I real nice set up, especially if you want more of the manifold look with header type performance. I have read articles on them, stating that they perform nearly as well as a full length high flow header. Not bad for such a compact and high quality package.

Re: Sanderson Headers (OHSIXX)
Yes I have a set, however I have not installed them yet. So I can not attest as to how well they fit. But they look great!!!! Mine are the blockhugger ones for the 385 Fastburn heads.
The constrution is good and the header flange is extra thick. They even claim no gasket is necessary....................JIM :)
I bought them because I wanted shorties and I have side exhaust pipes. 467-Ratman was the one I need to thank for posting pics of the ones he bought and giving me the correct part number on them back in March/April. I need to get them coated.... It's worth the price...
I got them direct from Sanderson, about $450 bucks. They are block huggers and are coated from them. I dont know how to post pictures on the forum, if you would like I can email them to somebody then they can post.
I put a set on the ZZ430 I installed in my '70 and they are really nice looking coated and all. As far as no gasket being needed I treid that and then went back and put them on. But they are great headers and look good too.
Thanks Larry for posting my pictures. As you can see in the pictures they are extremely close with the BB, but the fit is good and they look and perform very well. I was told by my engine builder friend that the longer Hookers would make more torque than the block huggers? Oh well, the rat has plenty of grunt anyway!
I purchased a set of their blockhugger headers (cc-1) ceramic coated. Excellant construction, thick flange, no gaskets required (save you another $30 some dollars) Fit perfectly no mods required, plug access is no problem. Come with angled reducer so you can align your head pipes any way you want to. Look great under the hood, highly reccomend. $315.00 plus shipping. :D
