Default Steering column: where does this part go?

I'm replacing turn signal switch/canceling cam on 1974 small block coupe, automatic trans. The column is on the bench (I seriouly don't know how this can be done with column in car, but thats a topic for another thread.)

Can anyone tell me where this part goes? (Not the dog, I know he goes outside. He photobombed this pic.) It fell out of column when I pulled signal switch and wires out. Do i need thjs part / is it functional?

Part from steering column, 1974 corvette.

That is the contact for the key buzzer.

Ah hah! Thank you. It looks like there wont be a key/belt buzzer in this project.

This thing was on the column, it was bolted to ignition connectors. Any ideas what its for? Thank you in advance.

Nevermind, this is a condensor for electronic noise. It connects to ground.

It is the clip that holds the key buzzer switch in place. The following pic shows a standard (none adjustable) column with the switch and clip. If you have a T&T column the switch and clip may be a bit different. But you should get the basic concept from this pic.
