Water pump date question
Can anyone identify this water pump as to date...
C2 Appears to be:330813 But hard to read

Guy is telling me its from a 1978...but my understanding is to read the date as such
First letter month , next two numbers day,last number year
Example : D 20 8 would be April 20, 1978

Hi I,
330813 indicates a water pump casting that was used on Corvettes from late 72-82.
I'm sorry but I'm not familiar with the casting date in that style… I too would expect to see a letter for the month and digits for the day and year.
Perhaps someone more familiar with later water pumps can clarify the date casting.
