to my knowledge, the only two tone vettes to ever come from st. louis were the '78 anniversary/pace cars. if i'm right, that would mean the only two tone c-3's came from bowling green: very late '81 and '82. i believe this color combination was a factory option, i have seen a few of them. very nice looking combination too.

websters: claret, 3) a deep purlish red. 4) slangblood.
although not really common, i've seen this color combination enough that i don't believe it's concidence that so many people would repaint this combination. gotta be factory.
