Default Need help with AC

I have a 68 that is lacking nearly all the AC components. The only parts that came with the car are the evaporator and POA valve. I see according to the AIM that the hoses that run from the compressor connect to these parts with clamps. I found a muffler setup and only lack the hoses, but they are available. The problem is that the 68 frame is long gone and mine is a 69 or later and accordingly has the 69 and later radiator support. I know that the brackets for the 68 are hard to come by so I suppose I'm stuck with a 69 and up condenser and dryer setup. So, I'd like to know if I should go with a 69 muffler/ compressor hose setup so everything lines up and since the hoses have fittings attached are they the same size as the ones already on the car? Thanks in advance.

I would call Classic Auto Air here in Tampa and ask them what parts you need to upgrade the system. My 68 has been upgraded to with a Sanden compressor as well as a modern dryer and blower and works well here in Tampa. Jerry
