The L-82 oil pan on my 78 is different from the L-48 passenger car engine pan. I was looking to replace the L-82 OEM pan when I rebuilt the motor in 2014 and cannot find an L-82 pan with the drain plug on the drivers side but more importantly the internal baffles that prevent oil starvation on hard cornering and acceleration/braking. The OEM 78 L-82 pan is not offered in the aftermarket.....I reused the OEM L-82 pan after straightening the edges and repaint....all worked out.
Corvette pans are usually unique to Corvettes, but generally, all 63-79 Corvette pans are similar. The exceptions were the larger capacity pan (5 qt vs 4 qt) used on 63-65 solid lifter 327's and 70-72 LT-'s and the baffled pan found on late 70's L-82's.
80 and later 350's use a completely different pan, with the dipstick located on the right (passenger) side of the block.

You have to be careful with the early sbc oil pans as the front gasket clearance changed at least once and many of the passenger car pan are shaped differently along with the dip stick location change.
GMPP used to sell the Z28 oil pan with somewhat better baffling (not the best though), not sure if they still sell it now. Oil pans can get expensive but if you circuit track race you can't have a less than adequate pan or your motor will be short lived.
For a '75 you want a driver's side dip stick. Be careful of cheap oil pans w/o any baffling.
For stock replacement w/baffling try RockAuto - <$50.
Cardo0 is right about the driver's side dipstick and rockauto offering the best price...no idea of quality....No, though, on the baffling from any of the vendors..base L-48's did not come with oil baffles, only the L-82 option:
