Default Engine Gurus
i'm trying to decode a engine block but, I can't figure out the year.This is what's stamped on the pad by the head 6F 1C257 V0813TY a wag Flint Mich. August 13 and maybe out of a Camaro but , I need the year any clues with these numbers?

I found the code TY on nastyz28.com and it shows it as a 1978 305 out of a Grand Prix. The casting number may be of some help if you have it.

Took another look and scraped. Z changes everything 75 ,350,truck 165 hp. Whee!
