Default A/c compressor gasket/seals

While detailing the engine compartment, while the engine is at the machine shop, I am also fixing my A/C. This is a 78 with L82 engine.

Bought a new evap coil as well as the kit to convert to 314 Freon. The kit came with several sets of gaskets, o rings and seals. I could use some help in setting up the right set of seals where the hoses connect to the compressor.

The original seals are a black o ring and they did not leak. With the new set I have a set of green o rings that are too thin and will not complete a seal. There is also a set of metal and rubber seals but these are very thin.

There is a set of metal sleeves that look like they should be pressed onto the compressor side of the connection and used with some very heavy and hard seals.

But I'm only guessing.

Anyone have experience with this kit that can shed some light?

It looks to me like you need two green o-rings (for 134a) to match the ones that came off of the compressor. A GOOD local auto parts store should stock an assortment of the 134a o-rings to match your old ones.
