Three identical parts hold the steering column in place.
Mount against the firewall side.

Hi 68,
Just like HF said.
Lower right… part of a hood hinge?
Upper left???
Regards,
Alan

Also needed to secure the reverse 'lock' cable.

Lower right does indeed look like half a c3 hood hinge , but that top left piece , I have never seen anything like that in a c3 coupe , may be from a convertable ???

Hi b,
Good One!
I looked but don't see it in the 71 AIM convertible pages.
The square hole looks sorta like it's an area shaped like a 'cage' for a nut?
?
Regards,
Alan

I haven't done any work on a convertible so I'm just guessing , maybe this is one of those one off 68 vert. parts ??

I have an early 68 convertible and it was in pieces when I bought it. The part doesn't look familiar at all to me. Guess I'm no help on this one.

Thanks for the feedback on this post. I bought a 68 in parts years ago and have since added other parts from various parts cars etc. Going thru boxes and left overs now to sort out what I have. So if any of this is not from a 68 that's not a shock to me. Just trying to weed through and see what I may have overlooked and what parts are headed to auction. I knew this place would be the ultimate resource to do this. :-)

I found out what the part is in the upper left of the picture. It is a mounting bracket for a 69-72 brass expansion tank that mounts to the passenger side inner fender well. Would you consider selling it as I'm trying to put together a set of brackets for a 69 BB.

Ah , my 69 didn't have aircon and it had the alloy tank . That's why I didn't recognise it .
