took my car out for the first real road test today, drove about 20 miles to my work place. The car started just fine this morning, but after it got a little hot, the damn thing just wouldn't start....it would turn over, almost start and then just spin. tech support not much help, should have known better than to buy this system after reading all the negative reports here and elsewhere......how the heck am i supposed to drive this car anywhere when i'm not sure it will start when warm. might pull it off and send it back if they will take it at this point.
Gary I understand the frustration, but don't jump the gun and blame the system right away. All the reviews and forums I have read have been overwhelmingly positive with a few negative issues here and there. The biggest known problem is when using their fuel command center. What did you do for a fuel system? As much as any of these systems are advertised as plug-n-play, it does take some setting adjustments to get it just right. I think it will be worth it for you in the end if you take a breath and work through it.
I don't think I can post a link, but a certain "team" on a "Chevelle" forum have a 84 page thread going on FiTech EFI Tuning Tips, info sharing, ideas, settings, etc...
Gary, go here for help - I sense your frustration. Everyone goes through this for a while till you sort it out. Mine took a while but it's running great now. http://www.chevelles.com/forums/89-efi/
Although I never had your issue, others have and the fix is in this thread somewhere - FiTech EFI Tuning Tips, info sharing, ides, setings, etc.

EXCELLENT link and thread. WOW! 84 pages, better get comfy when you start reading them all. I'm sure your answer is there somewhere, if not, register to forum and start posting up. Good luck.
