The vette is finally home after a marathon road trip from Jackson, MS to Tampa, Fl and back this weekend. Had a little trouble enroute and got home later Sunday than I had planned. Didn't get to drive it yesterday as my wife and I had to rush to the hospital after I got home because my ex-wife said my daughter had appendicitis. Hope to get a little behind-the-wheel time after work today. It sure does sound good. It doesn't have a real lopey cam but there's enough there to tell the blue oval boys to back off. I am well satisfied with my purchase and will have many questions on "how do i fix this".
I am glad you got your VETTE home. You will really enjoy it - I know I love mine!! I couldn't wait to drive it when I first got mine home either. I like it even better now that it runs like a champ! :chevy
Daughter is fine...she went home late yesterday afternoon. Took the vette for an hour drive yesterday afternoon. FUN FUN FUN. That bb is sumpn else!! There are a lot of things I want to perfect/fix so I'm gettin a list together. First off I need to get the a/c compressor hung on the head. My toes were roasted when I got home.
The Road Trip from Hell: On the way back my wife's 2001 4runner quit on us just west of the AL/FL line Sat nite bout 9:30. Had it towed. Luckily my uncle lives outside of Mobile and towed the trlr to his house. Sunday mornin, we started for MS with my uncle's poor Trooper pullin the trlr. That thing was really struggling. We stopped bout halfway between Mobile and Jackson to swap the trlr over an F250 that my bro-in-law sent down from Jackson with one his employees driving. Made it back with no damage except one of the tiedown straps was cut halfway across its width. No problems from the rented trailer. That is something I will never ever do again.
