Camshaft choice
Hello,
I have 71 base corvette in restoration stage.
Im collecting parts to rebuild engine.
My drivetrain is 200r4 transmission with 2500 converter and 3.73 rear.
I have vortec 062 heads and 1.6 full roller rockers.
questions:
- need cam recomendation and short explanation , why ?
- do I need to change pistons to true flat ones ? how much CR will I loose if I will keep original ones. I will use .026 gasket.
It will be weekend cruiser/vacation car , road 66 trip , Canada trip.
But would like to smoke tires if I will b asked to as well.
