Default LS2 engine help needed

I have an LS2 installed in my '72 C3. The LS2 is out of an '05 stock corvette. I'm almost ready to fire this thing up but I have 2 questions for someone about the LS2 intake manifold.
1. In the front of the manifold, right in back of where the throttle body is attached, is an open port and I have no idea where or if this is connected to something. I've seen some images where its blocked off and some images where its connected but I can't tell where and to what. This is a non-emission engine so I'm not concerned about things like EGR and other related equipment. I've attached an image for reference.
2. In back is a brake booster vacuum port which I won't be using since I have a Hydroboost system which gets its pressure from the power steering pump. Could I use this vacuum port to open & close the wiper door? Any thoughts?? Thanks for any help!

Front port is either purge solenoid or PCV. No need for the purge, but set up your PCV.
Rear works fine for vacuum operated wiper/headlights.

I typically cut the front port nipple off and then drill and tap for a bolt. Makes it look cleaner than a rubber cap over the top.
