just got my 40series FLOWMASTERS in today. but i dont know how easily this thing is going to fit looking at how the pipe bends right after the muffler.
ive never gotten mufflers put on before... what should i be expecting price wise to put these things on including the dumps?
I had my old system cut out, true dual installed from headers back (2.5"), with h-pipe, mufflers installed (15 dollar summit turbo mufflers, so $30 for the mufflers), and then just regular steel tail pipes, all for $200 for the installation. Grand total $230. One hell of a deal :)
I paid 850, for all new exhaust.. No wait. gawd darnit.. I bought the piping first then had them install it and they still charged me 850.. UGhh. .anyways I was taken up the rear at an exhaust shop for them to do mandral bent 3.5 inch piping from my turbos to the back, and using dynomax bullet mufflers. and after it all, any part of the exhaust you do see, didn't come out right. Oh well, at least I threatened them that if they don't repair it my way I would be seeing them in court due to the fact that according to washington state law, any repair costing more than 75 dollars is required to have a writtin estimate. I asked them 3 times and they couldn't manage to come up with one, except for a verbal statment of "it shouldn't be more than 500".
anyways thats enough of my bitchin. It shouldn't cost more than 250 at the most for a standard replacement.
