Default Rag joint replacement part question.

Changing out my steering box and installing a new rag joint. I found this one local that seems to have the correct flat and stop pins. I can run a jumper for the ground. The only thing that I would question is the material used. It is some type of poly. Has anyone here ever used this style?

Had my original rebuilt by Corvette Steering before the tragic untimely passing of the owner. You may want to check on the possibility of having your original rebuilt. I do not know who but maybe someone can chime in that does know.

Thanks guys. I am just going to return the part and look for another that is closer to stock. Don't want to take any chances.

Bought it at Advanced Auto. It was 40 dollars. I've gotten one from one of the larger suppliers and the flat was in the wrong side and it cost over double. I decided to rebuild the one I have
