1982 door lock
Then..if you had not figured it out....you have to remove the 'E' clip that holds the pawl to the backside of the lock cylinder and CAREFULLY slide the switch off the backside of the lock cylinder. MAKE SURE you pay VERY CAREFUL attention when doing this....because there is a light yellow or light blue portion of this switch that can sometimes not come with switch when you pull it and it is the MOST important part of this switch. SO...if it stays stuck to the lock cylinder....when you get the lock cylinder out...carefully remove it and re-install it back in the switch housing.
When I do this...I also take a plastic sandwich bag and bag up this switch and and tape it to it so that plastic piece does not fall out and get lost.
Then..careful inspection of the lock cylinder itself is needed...due to the metal pawl can actually wear into the pot metal shaft of the lock cylinder...and thus...will allow the lock cylinder to still function...but what happens if the wear on the shaft is great enough....it throws off the position on the special plastic piece in the switch that goes on the back side of the lock cylinder and make your alarm act really touchy.
