You found it Jossy. With that much play in that rod you have spun a bearing and that engine needs to come out. The crankshaft most likely needs turned and that rod needs redone or replaced. cost can go from 200 to 800 bucks to get the machine work done, if the crank and rod is good + a gasket set if you do it yourself. You will learn a lot about
engines and if you get stuck there is always help here.

finally haha Ima pull the engine out then haha I think while I got it out and gunna get it machined I'm gunna get a 383 stroker kit and one hav any recommendations?
Don't know if you got your answer yet, but I saw your video and the light was not on the cap that you were pressing. I assume it was the rod bearing cap that was moving around as you were pushing it. That is not what is supposed to happen, as I'm sure you probably guessed. That bearing is shot, or completely destroyed. You now need to pull the crank and get it milled at least .010", and replace all bearings. Same thing happened to my L-82. My guess is you were low on oil and you revved it too high.
For a few hundred dollars, you can do it yourself, but you need a torque wrench, some plasti-gage, and some patience. Make sure you mark your bearing caps so they go on EXACTLY where they were. Don't turn them around or swap with different rods.
Good luck.
