I am trying to install lowering bolts int he rear of my car and I noticed the spring bolts are angled from the trailing arm backwards to reach the hole in the spring. This isnt correct right? The bolt should drop straight down from the TA to spring holes right?
I want to R&R with longer bolts. Hoping I can just jack up the arm, pull the bolt and drop the replacement right in, run up the nut to the height I want and then get an alignment.
If the T/A is in the "driving" position (or close to it) and I jack the end of the spring to take the tension off the lower cushion should the bolt just pull up without binding (much)?
