Default Borgeson upgrade and power steering pump

I'm doing a number of concurrent upgrades and wanted to double check whether or not i can use the power steering pump i have with the new borgeson steering box. Here's the specifics;
  • 74 coupe, small block
  • serpentine upgrade. Brackets and pump are from a 92 caprice. I used this pump because the low pressure line was already "clocked" in the right direction.
  • I still have the original v-belt pump for the car on the shelf.

is there any issue with using the pump from the 92 caprice, meaning are there any pressure orafices i should change or can i use the pump as-is?

I put a new serpentine set up on my 81. Used the pump that came with the GM kit with Borgeson box and all works fine. Did not change the orfice. There is a recent post regarding leaking at the hose connections to the Borgeson box and some o-ring fittings that eliminate the flare bushings. Might be worth a look.
