Default Radiator in a 69 SB

I have a 69 SB base with a manual and AC. I am trying to track down a radiator that would work but that won't break the bank (Champion or the like) but finding one which works with a manual and AC is hard. Any suggestions? Is it possible to use a radiator for an automatic car in a manual? Just don't connect up the automatic cooler?

The main thing I am trying to do is go electric cooling and upgrade the rad due to the high heat in Texas and the propensity to hit heavy traffic here in Austin.

you must decide if you want sb radiator or Big Block, which requires the correct radiator support,
I live in Texas too, I only install the larger 27 Radiator (BB). your choice.
you can use an Automatic cooler, just plug the holes to keep junk out of the transmission cooler,
new units typically come with plastic plugs, just leave them in place.

My 69 came with the base L-48 and A/C, & auto trans. It has the large radiator in it. It now has the dual spal fan set on the original radiator. Most of the time it runs on 1 fan until it's over 80F. Never overheated. T
