No, but make sure there is a sleeve in the hole for the alternator pivot bolt. The rear of the pivot bolt hole should have a sleeve that is pushed against the alternator when the bolt is tightened. Without that sleeve, the alternator will tilt.

Thanks for that. Yea mine does have the sleeve on the bracket.
This whole car was in pieces when I bought it, so not sure if I am missing some spacers?
or have the bracket on wrong. The way it is the alternator looks too far back, and also I can't see how I can get the power steering top of (pretty tight)
