HOW MUCH HP? 79 VETTE
Here is my set up
350ci (.060 over ) 2 bolt main block
Cast crank, stock con rods
Hi volume oil pump
TRW forged flat top pistons (L-82 style)
76cc heads w/performance springs 1.94 intake 1.5 exhaust
Camshaft 440/443 lift 278/288 duration
Hydraulic lifters w/heavy duty push rods
Performer intake (non egr)
Edelbrock 600 cfm carb......Gave away the Quadrajet
Dynomax headers
True dual exhaust w/dual cats
Stock mufflers (glass packs? flowmaster? borla? spiral baffles?) Help!
4 bolt main block on standby if I screwed up
Goal: Sound good, respectable HP/torque
Can anyone with a desktop dyno or actual dyno results with a similar set up provide the following:
rwhp(net)
torque
compression ratio

Well that seems to be a standard mild buildup of a sbc. You should be around 275hp/320tq net (give or take a few). If you do something about those heads/valves, you could get 300+hp easily. The flat-top pistons with a 76cc chamber yield a 9:1 CR.
