The rear end does not seem to have been modified. However, the rear tires are rubbing the brake line mounts even though I have the original tires and rims. Has anyone run into this same problem?

I guess you're going to get some of the same answers in this thread as you did in your earlier thread.
The 255 tires on the car are quite a bit wider in section (fatter) than the tires originally on the car.
The first thing a wider tire hits in the rear is generally the mount for the parking brake cable… but…. generally it just clears.
I know you said the car is in the shop, but it's difficult to determine why the tire is rubbing in your case with out seeing some photos of the rear suspension.

the emergency cable hangs in the way if you have fat tires.
Tie wrap the cable to the trailing arm.
stock rims should clear the bracket, unless your using different offset rims.
