Where can I get a door jamb switch for my 69? I need one with two terminals on it, one for the dome lights and the other for the factory alarm system. All of the door jamb switches that I can find at the local auto parts stores are too short (even the ones that are supposed to be for a 69 Vette), they don't contact the door when the door is closed. The door jamb switch for the car is about 1/4 to 3/8 inch longer than the switches that the local auto parts stores have. I need one that fits, ones with the correct length and with two terminals on it. Who has them, anybody have link to one?
Thanks Alan. I saw that switch on their website but is it the right length? Have you bought one from them? I want to be sure that it really is the right length before buying it simply because I don't want to go through the hassle of having to wait a week for it to arrive and then having to box it back up and bring it to the post office and cover the return shipping cost and then waiting some more for the refund on it. I want to be absolutely sure that the switch I order will be the right length before I order it if at all possible.

Try Corvette Speciality by Dave Meyer in San Diego. 619-283-7381. He has a lot of NOS corvette parts. The Other Greek.
As Alan said, the door switches for both the courtesy lights and alarm or ajar are available at all the corvette aftermarket dealers. Try Corvette Central and put in "door switch" and you will get both. Again, as Alan said get the extra connectors as the wiring is part of the harness and doesn't come on the switch. The switches are accurate reproductions and function the same as original.
i found that the aftermarket switch was a little longer and has the correct marking it has no sleave as the original as Alan said you must order the pins with it ,, it works ,, in reality its a 4.00 switch with the pins that turned out to be a over 20.00 plus the 7.00 shipping ,,,, my back side is feeling it
Hi TG,
I haven't replaced the switches on my 71.
You need to make sure you order the switch for the hinge pillar which is for the courtesy lamps, key buzzer, and theft alarm, and not the switch for the lock pillar which is for the door ajar warning.
Regards,
Alan
