Default What year radiator?

Hi,

I've pulled this radiator out of my 74 (race car). Radiator mounts are stock and radiator is a Harrison brass one. It has a fitting on the tank above the lower hose neck that I haven't seen on a 74 (I've had several others). Connection looks about the size of a heater hose. Can't be sure of year, but it is a 69 or up (larger width.)

So, what is it?

Thanks,
walt z.

I've never seen a fitting like the one on that radiator, on any stock Corvette radiator. From the shape of the right side tank (other than the extra fitting), it sure looks like a stock 73 to first design 76 radiator to me.

If it is a 73-76 radiator, the core (less the tanks) should measure 17" high, 27 1/2" wide and about 2 5/8" thick.

I'm guessing the extra fitting was added by a previous owner, for some unknown reason.
