vbandp dual mount spring problems
Has anyone on here had any problems with springs breaking or delaminating on the vbandp dual mount system. I have had two springs break in the center and two begin to delaminate on the ends. I'm really starting to worry about the safety of these springs. I have a total off 850 miles on all four of the springs.

Even with header wrap you can still get heat soak into the spring over time. Can you fit a shield between the spring and the exhaust with a bit of air gap. Later cars with stock fiberglass springs came with a shield for this reason.

Vbandp doesn't seem to think it is a heat problem and the spring itself is a good 2 inches from the exhaust pipe. you can touch it with the engine running and not get burned in that area. I think it is a problem with the adhesive they are using. I can't get them to admit it through.
